  • PIEROWALL/ PAPA WESTRAY SERVICE - SUNDAY 5TH APRIL

    We are pleased to advise passengers that the 13.15 sailing from Pierowall, and its subsequent return, will go ahead as scheduled.

    The 17:00 and 18:55 sailings from Pierowall will also depart as scheduled.

  • GRAEMSAY & MOANESS SERVICE – SUNDAY 5TH APRIL

    We regret to advise passengers that the 09:30 and 10:30 departures to Graemsay and Moaness on Sunday 5th April are cancelled.

    This is due to the forecasted weather and tidal conditions.

  • GRAEMSAY SERVICE REFIT – THURSDAY 2ND TO SUNDAY 19TH APRIL

    We would like to advise, MV Graemsay will be on annual refit from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 19th April.

    During this time, we have chartered Northerly Marine Services and we would recommend booking in advance as passenger numbers on this service are limited to 12.

    To increase capacity, we have added additional sailings, these are on request and must be booked online or through the office at least one hour before departure from Stromness.

    Additional sailing times can be seen on our Graemsay refit timetable available on our website https://www.orkneyferries.co.uk/timetables

    Larger freight items for cargo sailings will be on request, and will need to be booked through the office.

  • GENERAL DISRUPTION WARNING – SUNDAY 5TH APRIL

    We would like to advise customers that there is possibility of disruption across all our services on Sunday 5th April.

    This is due to a yellow weather warning being issued for strong winds.

    Updates will be provided when available.

  • NORDIC SEA SERVICE – REFIT PERIOD

    We regret to inform passengers that there will be a delay in return of the Nordic Sea from refit.

    Updates will be provided as soon as they are available.

    All sailings from 28th March to 10th April currently have been cancelled.

  • WESTRAY SERVICE - SATURDAY 2ND MAY

    We would like to advise passengers that the 07:20 Westray service on Saturday 2nd May will operate to the following schedule.

    Depart Kirkwall 06:40

    Arrive Westray 08:05

    Depart Westray 08:15

    Arrive Kirkwall 09:40

    This is to accommodate Westray rugby players attending Rugby Sevens in Kirkwall.

    All affected passengers have been contacted.
